I don't have any credit cards so all the financial advise i feel i come across doesn't really apply to me; I have several bounced checks from several years ago and need advice on how to take care of this to clear my credit report

First thing I would do is make a list of the amounts due and the companies I owe them too. I would imagine if they're on your credit report, they've been turned over to some kind of a collection agency and the debt no longer belongs to the original company.

Do you have the extra money to start paying these off?

I'm not sure if the SOL laws (seeing as you mentioned these were from several years ago) apply to bounced checks as they do with other debts...maybe someone else can chime in with that.

Ya know...I've had a few checks on Chexsysytems, at one time. I din't have a CA contact me about them. I had Chexsystems, themselves ( a rep from them) contact me. However.......it was NOT on my CR. I don't know if Chexsystems has a SOL or not.
