I'm not an expert on the different state laws but I do believe that your wages can be garnished and assets levied (including bank accounts) in order to satisfy a judgement.
First, I would contact the court and make sure that this is in fact a true judgement. Also, check out your credit reports. It will be listed in the "public records" section.
Does the judgement list payment terms? Like are you required to pay $100/month, etc.? If that's the case, make sure you follow it to the letter. Ignoring it will not make it go away and the judgement is going to impact your credit for quite some time...especially when it's unpaid.
I hope this is helpful :)

Were you served notice to appear in court? If not, you may have the judgement overturned for improper service. Check with the county clerk to see where and when the notice to appear was sent.

WAGES CANNOT BE GARNISHED IN PENNSYLVANIA!!!!!!
In PA, a judgment is not "served" on the defendant, and don't have "payment terms" on them. Are you sure you weren't served with a summons and complaint?
judgement???
I live in PA and barely use my checking account but, got in it today to check it and found that was being charge close to $2,000. I called the bank to see what the charge was for and was told it came from Capital One. they went and put a hold, or freeze on my account for a 2001 debt.. ??? help anyone with information about any of this! my e-mail is editedpersonal info-ND.com and i will be checking up here as well..
your debit in account
Dispute that with your bank. First the debt is from 2001 and the statute of limitations in PA is 4yrs. Plus they can't garnish in PA. I would dispute with your bank and say you never authorized this debit. Then I would change your bank account to creating either a new account or changing banks. Somehow Capital One got your banking information.
