unauthorized deductions
Date: Wed, 10/15/2008 - 20:08
I obtained a loan with Nationwide Cash in Sept 2007. I paid off the loan on my following payday. I then requested a new loan and was unable to pay it as orginally agreed due to fraud that occured when my checks were stolen my checking acct was overdrawn and Ambassador as they were called was unable to draft my acct because the bank closed it. I reopened a new acct in Feb 2008. They never sent me any info regarding any remaining amount, they have just deducted 2 pymnts of $45 ea from my checking without informing me verbally or in writing. I dont deny that i still owe $140.00 on my loan however I never authorized them to take the funds on any other date other than my pay dates the 15th and last date of the mo. The mnager their says they dont have to tell me or let me know which date they will deduct funds from acct because I still owe the debt and I breached the contract. I provided a faxed written request as they instructed for a copy of the contract in writing and have not received it yet and it has been sevral days. It was supposed to be faxed to me. Does any one know if the contract states they can deduct funds any day other than agreed upon originally.

Immediately dispute these withdrawals with your bank, inform them that they were not authorized by you. You should get your money back. There should be someone else with more knowledge coming around with better advice. Oh, I would also put a hard block on those people, have your bank deny -anything- that comes in from them.
