Has anyone ever had a call on their caller id that just says "0?" Whoever it is, has called my home # a total of 24 times today, but they don't leave a message. I realize that scammers can "spuff" a number to make it look like they are calling from somewhere else, but just having the number 0, has got me bugged. I guess it can also be some lo-life collection agency that is trying to collect on a debt that is included in my bankruptcy  It's like they don't understand that bankruptcy protects me. Heck, I've even had a collector tell me that bankruptcy will not protect me and he will get his money.

Yea, right!!!!

Many a times it has been seen that the collectors put a number in their auto-dialer which keeps on ringing (or should I say bugging) you until and unless you pick up the phone. These collectors may be using spoofing sites to call you so that 000-000-0000 appears in your caller id.

Bankruptcy 7 protects you from collection harassment. Read the following: -

The problem is the subsequent debt buyers that buy the portfolios that have BK accounts in them. All they do is load them into the system, fire up the predictive dialer and the calls start. In a way its kinda funny that they end up with the BK accounts because it usually gets them in more trouble than it's worth. Doesn't help the OP in this situation but I would at least answer once to find out who and why they are calling. If it's a CA, give them your BK attorneys phone number and be done with them.
