i had law suit filed aginst me from a collection agecy and got a default judgement intered and I disputed it and the courts sent me a letter giving the plaintff has 30 days to respon back now what is the next step what

I would imagine that if the agency does not answer in 30 days - the judgement will be thrown out? If you dont get an answer by the 30 day mark, I would give a call to the court and ask if an answer was received & what will happen next.
