Hi, I checked into this company and it is rated "Satisfactory" with the BBB. There have been some complaints regarding refund issues, but apparently have been resolved. Here is a link to what the BBB says.....

I worked for one of these companies and it's a scam for all practical purposes
So the debt does not get paid off and they just take your money?

Pacific Debt
We dealt with Pacific Debt, due to my job loss we couldn't keep up. We thought we were doing the right thing, trying to pay our creditors. In 18 months with P.D. we were almost twice the amount in debt. With late fees and over-limit fees and then the harrassing calls (that never stopped) We were getting no-where fast. Then, we rec'd a certified leter from the court, we were now being sued. We spoke to a lawyer and he advised us to get our money from P.D. and file for bank
ruptcy. When we requested our money, we learned of fees that were not disclosed and only rec'd a small % of our $ back. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!!!!!
