Ohioans for Financial Freedom raised $16.4 for ads

Date: Fri, 10/24/2008 - 08:49

The funding has allowed payday lenders to flood the television and radio airwaves with a variety of ads, completely overwhelming the Yes on Issue 5 committee, which reported raising just $266,000, nearly all from the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio. "

Thats a shame...i hope the ohio residents are paying attention come time to vote.

I wonder how much money CFSA has? Its a shame these corporations have $16.4m to throw around for tv ads.

And these TV ads are horrible. I have not seen one were they tell their rates. Instead they to save 6k jobs so vote no. How the State of Ohio backup tapes were stolen and now they want to create a database about you. They don't say the facts, just things to induce panic or doom.
