I think it is better to consult a professional who can settle the debt for you because it becomes difficult for a non-professional to negotiate with the creditor for guaranteed business debt.

I would seek legal assistance. Business debt is different from parsonal debt, and the rules are different as well.

one question.were you incorporated?if not then the creditors can go after your personal assets.don't know if they will settle because as unclewuelf stated the rules are different.
