I need to make sure that the 500 fast cash, one click cash, and united cash loans internet loans are illegal in the state of iL. I sent them all a Cand D letter certifed with signature receipt requested and also an e - mail to their compliance dept. Here is my question - i contacted a PDL assistance program and they said that these groups will settle for 30% . I have already moneygrammed One click cash $180 (which I have the receipt) I originally borrowed 450.00 I have already mneygrammed United $140 (which I have the recipt) and I originally borrowed 350.00 and I borrowed 350.00 from 500 fast cash. I told them that they were not legal in the state of illinois and I would be filing complaints. I have validation that they received my email c and d's yet they continue to contact me. Should I go with an agency or tell them that the above is my settlement. Since I already sent them C and D's can I even contact them again. I don't want to break my own agreement.

point well taken - here lies my problem. Do I now send a letter with my payment arrangements that I can afford to pay back the amount borrowed or does that break my c and D that I sent because they would not be able to reply

first greetings.second being from IL myself i can tell you the following.
a)these three are all d/b/a's of MTE
b)all are illegal everywhere not just illinois

if you could answer the following.

1)how much paid back total, include fees and rollovers.

you see if a pdl is illegal in your state you are only
obligated to pay the principle.anything debited as fees goes toward the loan.please provide that info.these places are famous for saying any money debited is fees.that is false as they are illegal all money debited goes toward the loan.

I borrowed 450.00 from one click cash - it rolled once for $125 and I moneygrammed them $180 which i have the receipt for. United Cash - rolled no times borrowed $350 moneygrammed them 140.00 which I have receipt for. 500 Fast Cash - I borrowed $350 and quite frankly they wont even talk to me

it sounds like you don't owe these places that much each and since it sounds like they no longer have access to your bank account.i would work this myself.first file AG complaints.these places are illegal and don't care.so they will try to buffalo you into thinking they are.second tell these pdl's that you have filed AG complaints.then file FTC complaints.wait for responses from AG and FTC.you do this because these pdl's will harrass and threaten to try and get 4 maybe 5 times what you really owe.the AG will make sure you pay only what you owe.the FTC will file the complaint, but in time will take action against these pdl's.

first, get them to agree to that.anything you send now without an agreement stating that is what you owe is almost like them debiting again.you can send moneygrams for the total owed then file AG complaints stating you paid this illegal loan off.i would be leery of sending any more partials.mainly because they can turn around and not count it toward the loan.i would note the two moneygram payments in your complaint.that would help, but it is the general consesus that nothing in writing no payment.

Since I already sent them certified cease and desist letters do I now send them another certified letter with my information about filing with the Attorney General and FTC and that I have paid them this amount money gram and this is what I will send them. DO I tell them they may send me a certified letter only to agree or disagree. How does that work because I want to get this taken care of withing the next couple of months but i don't want them to think that they can start calling me again. since I have sent those letters stating that I know they are illegal in the state of illinois and to cease and desist all communication I have not heard a thing from 2 companies and yesterday afternoon I got a "oops" call from a russell from one click cash and he then hung up. I don't want this coming back to haunt me down the road where it shows I did nothing while waiting for the AG. Please instruct me as I am so new to this

Also - should I go with a PDL assistance program or do this on my own. Now that I know they are not legal I feel Ican stand on my own. Have you heard anything about the company PDL assistance or PDL Eliminator. I spoke with them breifly. They stated they could settle for 30% however my fees to them would be more than the settlement. Are PDL companies more willing to work with customer if they pay back everything or more willing to work with settlement co . Just wondering B

well,if the pdl's are not legal they will put up a fight even with a supposed pdl settlement company.it is also no guarantee they will stop the calls either.yhe IL AG will make sure your rights are protected.can't say the same for any settlement company.that is not saying going with a pdl negotiator is bad.just if you have the want to you can do this on your own.

so if I decide to do this on my own - do I start with another letter to them stating I will pay them the principal borrowed only on such a date and then tell them to send me a letter back or what

that is a good start.let them know again that you are aware that they are illegal in IL and you wish to payback what was borrowed.any attempt to harrass and intimidate will be met with an AG complaint.also let them know that you will only communicate by USPS and e-mail.then they should respond.

I have signed up with PDL Eliminators however the will settle for 30% of what you owe however their fee comes out first and there is a monthly fee in addition so I do not know how much is actually saved.
