hi, i'm new here and in debt just like everyone else, wow I thought I was the only one with trouble. The thing is between the collection calls from the debt trolls, the stories I have been reading from this board, like the debt collectors agreed to a payment plan, then changed their mind, the harrassing calls and threats, the over charging, sometimes I just feel like saying "take me to court" just to get it over with. I mean it feels like a no win situation it almost seems like a blessing for a judge to decide on a amount and be done with it. Does anyone else feel like this?

Quakerquisp, welcome to the forum and the real world. Never give up or give in to these CA's. Send the CA's a DV letter making them prove that they own the debt, include a statement that all calls to your home are being recorded. This should stop the phone calls and harassment.
