Citibank - I owe 22K ( well it was like 19 but grows) I am about 3-4 months behind. They said they would do 230 a month @ 0% interest for 12 months to get me back on my feet. Only thing is they require a draw from a Bank account. I thought I would go and get another account and make sure there is 230.00 in there on there day.

Does that sound right ? or is it a scam and they end up screwing you. The girl I talked to sounded 18 yrs old but american

I owe Citi Bank 15K right now. A few months ago they told me they could give me a 0% for 5 years and payments of $246 or I could do the 0% for 12 months and then it would revert back to a regular rate and I believe I would keep the card.

You have a very large debt and should pin them down on a longer term 0% and make sure it's for the duration so you can pay it off. Who cares if the card gets closed because of the program. Plus you will be back up in the 20% or higher interest after a year.

Be firm and tell them if they don't get you on a permanent 0% you will have to let the card charge off.

Unfortunately my card just charged off because I couldn't make any payments and now I gotta deal with a company hired by the party that bought my debt.

Good luck

One more thing...The deal they offered me for the 5 years I would have been able to phone the payments in and they were not automatic.
