Call your debt settlement company...see what they have to say and I'm sure they'll give you advice on how to deal with your new "friend".

Dont give them a dime and find yourself an attorney ASAP!! They have so many violations they should end up paying you.

First of all, you need send them a C&D letter..CMRRR. You may outline all their fdcpa violations.
Second, get a copy of your cell phone bill showing where you talked to him and the subsequent calls. Photography them too. Same with your home phone. Keep a copy of your messages.

Then find yourself a NACA attorney... http://www.naca.net/
This will not cost you a dime to consult with one. It sounds like you have a strong case especially with records. Legal fees will be paid by the CA when the settle, which they will.
Make sure you tell the attorney about how much stress this is causing you.....

Thank you SoapLady. The only problem with the phone records is that they show up from an unknown number, but I know its him, because he's the only collector with my cell number. This guy screams into the phone, freaking out. And my 30 days to dispute aren't even up until the 9th of november! Ugh, they are all scum.

He left 4 messages....that is enough proof!!! He is only permitted to leave one message per day. And the message he left is clearly a violation...he is not capable of taking this to the next level.

With an attorney and threatening court and trial, they can supena the CA's telephone records.

Trust me....log all the calls dates and times including the messages left. Consult an attorney.

He left 1 message on my cell phone, and 1 message on my home phone. Then a lady from his company left a message on my cell phone, and another guy left a message on my home phone.

Still 4 messages, but only 2 were from him.

I cannot remember if it is per phone but they are only permitted to leave one message. However since he already had contact with you, no more calls should have made unless you gave him permission to call you back. All of those calls after you spoke with him would be in violatation.

I spoke with him on my cell phone at 11:27am. So there are a lot of violation calls. He actually just called again! I'm almost laughing cause it's just getting ridiculous.

Keep logging them.....I would almost suggest answering each one so he can id himself...and hang himself. Have fun with it....let him violate....

No, just say something like "sorry, I am busy right now...I will have to call you back." Dont ask him to call you back....say you will return the call. Let him continue to call...and say the same thing every time....and log each call. Only one contact is permitted each day unless you authorize otherwize.

I'd hit them with a C&D in regards to calls to your cell since that is incurring a cost to you. If they continue to call it after reciveing your C&D then sue them under TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act). Log your calls, they're worth $500 a pop.

Good lord. $500 a pop?? I'd be able to pay off the damn debt with as many times as they've called already. Lol.

I think this is a new record. It's only 8:45am and NES has already called me 4 times. Twice on my cell phone and twice on my home phone.

oh, wait, make that 6 times. 3 on my cell phone and 3 on my house phone. Plus two messages left on my cell phone. That just say "Call NES at (insert number here)" But it isn't Paul McElrath anymore, it's some lady. Still, 6 calls and 2 messages before 9am.

I'm calling t-mobile to see if there is a way to figure out who is calling from an unknown number, that way i will KNOW it's them. I already know, but I mean for proof to the courts.
