I need some advice.

I bounced a check to Cash One in California in Sept. for $300

I finally was able to pay it. I opened a new checking and sent them a new check, which they received Oct 29, they called me at work today stating that they could not accept the check, it had to be in the form of a cashiers check or debt card. I told them that I was at work and would take care of it this weekend.

Two minutes later a man from Cash One headquaters calls me sternly asking me when I'm going to take care of this check. I told them that the store front already phoned me and that I worked it out with them to come in on the weekend. He started to yell at me and tell me "NO!, you need to take care of it today!" I told him I've already spoke to one person and not to call me and I hung up.

He called back, I asked the receptionist to tell him I wasn't at my desk and to put it in my voicemail. He started to yell at her and tell her it was none of her buss who was calling and that he wanted to speak to my supervisor. I immidiatedly picked up the line and he started yelling at me telling me this wouldn't have happened if I had paid my bills yada yada... I told him that now he was harrasing my and my co workers and that I would sue, and I hung up.

I called the store front and paid the loan off with my debt card today Oct 30th. Then I called headquarters and ask to speak with a supervisor and spoke with a gal, although I do not think she was a supervisor. I told her what her employee did to me. She went on saying basically at this point I was to deal with headquarter and not the store front and that they had no idea the store front had contacted me. She went on saying that they've been tryin to get a hold of me to resolve this. I said it has been resolved, and that it is no my problem that they have bad comunication problems with each other, and that at this point it is not about the money but about the tactics that were used on me. And to think that he could involve my co workers, especially my boss was unexceptable. I told them this was not the last they would hear from me.

I will file a complaint with the bbb. I want to make noise on this one. I don't want them to just get a slap on the hand. What else can I do

I am not really sure any of these store front or internet lenders are being regulated and held to any kind of standard. Your loan is paid, just put in behind you. What goes around comes around and some day these horrible collectors will get theirs for sure. Your done with them dont look back.
