Is PDM aka AIS?

I sent PDM a certified C&D letter that they received on 10/27/08, and today (10/30/08) I was called at work & on my cell from a "different" CA. Today's CA was one I've never dealt with so that's why I'm so curious.

yes they are part of the same illegal company.AIS is in CA while PDM is in MO.i gave the address in your other post,but will give it again.

get a DV and C&D letter out cmrrr.also look into your legal options.that is a fdcpa violation.

PaulMergel, you're telling me that AIS & PDM are really the same CA? In my Googling, I discovered that PDM's toll free phone number (888-622-0222) is also NRS's (National Recovery Services, in KS) phone number! So we have AIS in San Francisco CA, PDM in Kansas City MO, and NRS in Ottawa KS. Yet they're the same company? Holy Frick!

I live in Ottawa Ks and and know people that work at NRS and they collect on internet payday loans. I know they do unauthorized debts all the time so whatever you do do not give them any info!! They like to give the assumption they are a law firm there to scare people into paying the balance on these accts. Theres also another webite that have many useful posts about them. They are becoming movies stars on their ethics and collection laws there!!

Our office has been retained on a claim that was filed in our office???? yeah...just ignore that. Their full of BS. Their just trying to put the scare into people to get them to pay.

So, I get a call from PDM today and I called back to find out what it is about. I told the lady that I recently closed my checking account and would like to set up some other arrangement to settle this debt. She says, "well we have to have your checking or savings account number to continue". I then said, "did I not just tell you that I closed my checking acct.?". She got an attitude, so I hung up and sent a C & D letter to them. I mean come on, I am trying to pay this and you are being a jerk. I owe maybe $150. I don't think they are going to take me to court over that!!! I just want to pay the debt in full and they want let me.
