I had a Direct Merchants CC years ago. I was sent an Arbitration Forum letter from Worldwide Asset Purchasing, LLC from the Law offices of Gerald E. Moore. Later I received a letter from the arbitration saying I owed 2013.00 to the claimant, WWAP,LLc and Gerald E Moore. I have since received a phone call from a Mr Harvey from Gerald E Moore offering me a 1000 settlement. I told him I could not pay this, he said my wages could be garnished that I had better do a check by phone for 150.00 or overnight a check to them that had to be there by end of Oct. (5 days from call) I have read that these people will wipe out your bank acct if they do a check by phone. Should I send them a validation letter? Also, what can they do to me?

send that validation letter to gerald e. moore asap.send it cmrrr.what they did was foreshadowing.basically they are trying to strongarm payment on an alleged debt before you can request validation.this particular collector is famous for it.get that letter out today.

Is the sol apply to the last payment to the original creditor or to the last payment to the CA

What state do you live in? Generally, it would be the last payment you made to the OC but some states allow resetting the SOL with a payment to a CA or JDB.

late payment ALL 1133

ms lisa, the poor econ has finally caught up with me, i lost my weekly income 3 weeks ago [3 6 09] ive been reduced 2 DAILY efforts 2 survive im bak in my mort [shelter], fone [communication seekin emp], car ins [trans for seekin emp] im havin 2 rob pete 2 pay paul pls indulge the late/partial payments until i can get back on my KNEES, not lookin 2 get bak on my feet anytime , soon!!!
