I received a call from them, they left a message asking for me to call them back. They didn't say what the debt is for. I know I have old unpaid credit cards, probably last payments made on them was 2004. Should I call them back? What do I say? I'm in Ny if that helps you in answering my question.

For NY they must only be licensed in NYC and Buffalo.

Seeing as though NCO has a HUGE office building just down the road from where I work in Getzville, NY (just outside Buffalo), I would make the assumption that they are licensed in New York.
