I cancelled a debt settlement program but....................

A family member is having problem with a debt settlement program. The company doesn't seem to want them to cancel before the first payments are made. what should we do?

Type up a letter noting the date you cancelled the program, who you spoke to and any other pertinent info. Have it notorized if possible and send it to the managing director certified mail return receipt requested. When you get your green card back, you have proof of cancellation. Remeber to type the CMRRR number in the heading of your letter (Sent Via Certified Mail # xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxx)
