pay day loans

I have been getting a ton of phone calls from people saying they are with attorney's offices talking about payday loans I had defaulted on. they are asking me if I want to handle this volunteerily. what is it that they can do. I don't have a job right now for me to pay anything. now I'm scared to answer the phone cause I don't know what to say.

First of check whether the concerned payday loans are legal to lend in your state. If they are licensed then you have to either pay them in accordance with your state pdl laws. But if they are not legal in your state then you can file a complaint with your state's Attorney General.
