A rep from the company called my place of employement to begin with. I sent them a letter as was required under my rights stating them not to call here. Also the person gave my social security number out to whoever answered the phone. I returned the call and the person proceeded to threaten me that they were going to garnish my wages. I told her to do what they had to do and that at this time I was unable to settle my debt. She replied by saying Good luck!!

i would start documenting everthing from this bottomfeeder.they are breaking the law by disclosing your ss# to other people.also they can't garnish without a court order.
send them a DV along with another C&D letter.send it certified mail return receipt.once they receive it and they continue the illegalities you can sue them for fdcpa violations.

Just do a quick search on this website of NES. You'll find plenty of horror stories, as well as my own. I'm currently working with a debt settlement company and gave them the number to contact he attorney there and they are STILL calling me. I would send a DV letter and a C&D letter. Make sure you let them know you can NOT receive phone calls at work. They did this to my husband too. These people are a nightmare. I wish you best of luck. Maybe you can find a debt consolidation or debt settlement company to help you. Just make sure you check them out with the BBB to make sure they are legit and not just trying to take your money.
