collection agenies calling but have never sent any dunn letters

When you get calls from collection agencies,should they have sent you a dunn letter first or they just call and if you request a dunn letter thats when they send it

as NASCARDEVIL says confirm your address then tell then they have 5 days from that to send the dunning letter.if they won't send the dunning letter.hang up in there earhole.

that is part of confirming your address.they should have it.just ask what address do you have?if they won't confirm or ask for your ss#.hang up.make them give you the info without giving it yourself.
