Hopefully someone can find the answer for you. I would check your state laws. Some states can do it until the debt is repaid and some can only do it for a few years.

i don't know about the length of the garnishment.it depends on the size of the debt or the amount granted in judgement.i do know that there is a cap of 15% of disposable income and in certain cases depending on the type of debt.your income must exceed 285.00 disposable to be garnished.that is from experience with ALL CREDIT LENDERS.
