wamu credit card

WAMU was purchased by JP Morgan Chase last month. You might want to contact them.

I tried going through Chase, but they said they have only taken over about 1/3 of the accounts so far. I suspect they picked the cream of the crop first, which leaves us out here trying to deal with WAMU. Anyone have any success with them. They literally call 4 to 8 times a day using 11 different numbers.

My experience has been they won't attempt to settle with you until the account has been written off. Once they do that, and who knows how long it will be with the merger, they will attempt to settle for 75%, then 50%, then 25%.

I dont know where to really start,I have 4 credit cards and two auto loans which i took out for my boyfriend. i dont know what to do to get back on track

there are many options for you. What is the status of your accounts? Past due? Written off? If past due, how long? Have you been contacted by collection agencies? If you want to dispute them, start with sending debt validation letters.
