can you file debt consolidation on accounts that have been charged off.
From what I've found from research, I'm afraid not. Once a debt
From what I've found from research, I'm afraid not. Once a debt is charged off it is no longer with the creditor and is now in collections either internally or externally.
This is a good time to try to settle if you can raise a lump sum. depending on the collector, you could save a substantial amount. look around as there's plenty of really good do it yourself info.
good luck
Yes you most definately can. Normally when it is charged off it
Yes you most definately can. Normally when it is charged off it is either placed with a CA or sold to a JDB. You can still do a dmp with accounts in collections or sold off.
