Over the weekend I received a reply from the BBB of NE Florida in regards to my complaint I filed against ARM of Florida for their handling of my pdl with CASH ADVANCE NETWORK.

1. They lied, they said I was sent a letter
2. They said they do not use abusive tactics
3. They said they did not know CAN was not licensed to lend in AZ
4. They themselves are not licensed in AZ
5. They consider my account closed and refer me back to CAN if I want to pay the remaining $120.

The BBB wants me to write back if I consider the matter closed or if I have any other comments and if they dont hear from me in 10 days they will automatically consider it closed.

Will CAN just send this to someone else? Has anyone else been a victim of ARM of Florida's tactics? I would love to see everyone who has ever dealt with them complain to the BBB. They use the tag team system and are abusive, if you could read their letter to the BBB they talk about how professional they are and its the nature of their business that people who owe money get mad when the call. I could only laugh when I read it.

Should I write back and say I do not consider it closed or should I let it go and continue with CAN? Should I send CAN a copy of the letter from ARM to show them what ARM thinks of their legal status?

do you owe 120.00?if so i would contact CAN about ARM'S response to the BBB and try to pay it.if you don't owe CAN anything let the BBB know that in your response to the BBB.it all depends on whether or not you still owe CAN the 120.00 or any amount.

I do owe CAN $120 and want to pay it off, but they have not been receptive. I tried paying them before it went to ARM. Should I fax them the copy of the letter from ARM and make the same offer to pay it off? Maybe if they see ARM is saying they are not legal they will accept my payment via prepaid visa card.

possibly, but given how the response was worded.they might just do you a "favor" and settle for the 120.00.they have done that before too.giving it to another CA.send or fax that letter to them and see what happens.you have control now.use it to your advantage.
