Credit counseling certificate

After you take the course for the credit couseling certificate, either online or by phone, how long do you have to wait to get your certificate so you can file? Would they mail it to me?


I did mine online. It takes 24 hours for them to issue the certificate. It was sent directly to my attorney. I then paid my attorney the $50. I received via mail a packet with the certificate and other useful and important info about a week later.

We just did our counseling yesterday, over the phone. Once our payment of $50 was received, our counselor emailed it to our attorney and to us.

If you have all your figures and have pre-registered with them, CCM (Credit Consumer Management, Inc.) is VERY fast. At least they were in our case.
