debt settlement plans

I am in what I consider a successful program. I am with Superior Debt Services, and started with $90,000 in debt due to a business that closed. It is a 36-month program, and in my first ten months four accounts are already settled including one (my largest) that I did on my own outside the program. Because of that, the account and its corresponding fee were deducted from the remaining 26 months, making my payment $500 less per month for the remainder of the program. (WHEW!!) It has not always been smooth sailing, dealing with the collectors etc., but the accounts I have left are relatively small compared to the ones already settled so I feel very good about it overall, and the light at the end of the once-never-ending dark tunnel is getting much, much closer!

Preferred financial services. My 17k. CC got it down to 9k. I'm paying it off and is paid in full may 2009. I can't wait till im done with that.
