Curadebt runs their call center out of a South American country, why would you place personal information in people's hands overseas. Also, why would you pay those high fees?
Think about it, you are making curadebt richer while they operate outside of the US, this company is taking our jobs out of the US and our money as well.

Make a list of every debt settlement company out there. Then, start narrowing them down. Check their BBB ratings and comments. Type each name into the search box above, and check out all the links given as to whether or not people are happy or not with their services. When you narrow it down to a few, actually call those companies and ask them the questions you still have. Make sure your funds will be going into a separate account in a bank that you have control over, and not directly to the settlement company. A good company will be right up front with their fees, policies, etc. They will also explain the process in exact detail, along with the possible problems. You will know, in the end, who you feel comfortable with. The standard fee is about 15%. If you don't want to pay a fee, you might try settling on your own.

It means that company has been audited by conducting a independent 3rd party in which all of TASC standards are met. They screen the calls on a regular basis, and actually come into the company to see how the operation is run looking at all their paper work, etc
