What is the fee that the employer can place on a garnishment?

The company can deduct a fee from the emplyee's disposable earning before taking garnishment deductions. What is the maximum amount that can be implemented?

if you are talking about what can be deducted before the garnishment?just about everything.401k,insurance,child support,taxes.disposable income is after all those deductions and more are taken out.

Usually it is only mandatory deductions....taxes, health insurance and child support. 401K is considered optional.
As for the employer charging a fee to do the garnishment, in some states it is legal, in some states it is not.
