Water bill - Lien?
Date: Tue, 11/18/2008 - 12:27
Will this amount (lien) grow over the year? What happens to my credit score? I have 800+ points prior to that. What is your suggestion? I live in Virginia. TIA.

As the sum of money is $250, pay it off and go after the tenant. Please go through the tenant-landlord agreement and see who is responsible for paying the water bill. If the tenant violated this term then you can sue him.

It's been a year now. I have no idea where they are. Water was one of them (there were gas, electric, trash, drinking water, credit card etc. you name it!). I worked out the rest in which I paid some out of my pocket.
The water issue, the waited for so long and only gave me one week to response. I assume they put it on the lien. I was just wondering if I sell the house later, say in 20 years, will the $250 become $250K? Hope not! Thanks for your time.
