Disturbing - Receiving Spam Emails

Are you talking about the quick message alerts that are on there? I used to get them anytime I had a message here, but that stopped quite some time ago, and I thought it wouldn't do that anymore.

I have gottem spam from debt consolidation companies, etc., but figured it wasn't from here since I get spam with other stuff in it..karen

Quizrocket? Hmmmmmmmm, that's spam alright, the email address I use for debt cc is my designated spam email address, I receive tons of spam daily. Not sure what to make of this but most likely one of the admins will be around to respond.

Hmmm that is definately not encouraging. Is there anyway you could set up a spam filter to block these people?

Bossy - everything in that list was sent to my DCC address. I know the quick messages are from here, and the topic reply notification...

Overall it's not a big deal, same as any other spam I get in my regular email. I will mark it as spam and hopefully it won't come back.

It's quite strange that you've received spam mails in your DebtCC email because email Ids are available to the moderators only, not even to all registered members.

Thanks for sharing this problem with us. I have taken a note on it and have communicated this problem to our tech team. They are trying to find out any glitch in our system and rectify it so that such problem doesn't occur again.
