I have already used the search box here. Anyone else have any experiences with this collector?

That's no reason to let down your guard. Northland is known to have dealings with LVNV / Resurgent / Sherman, generally as a 'shell' CA. You deal with them at your peril. If you haven't read anything bad about them, you haven't done enough reading yet.

What are they saying to you? In dealing with these people, I would insist on propervalidation before giving them so much as one thin dime.

They buy up debt and have been contacting me about an old paypal credit card that one of the junk buyers bought. My consumer debt attorney asked me to contact him when this particular debt collector starts harrassing regularly. I haven't heard from them in awhile but look for them to keep contacting.

I haven't talked to them at all yet. Their name and number showed up on my caller ID a few times, a couple of weeks ago. I didn't want to talk to them until I knew what I was in for. I don't even know which account they are suppposedly representing, because I haven't gotten anything in the mail.

they send out "bills" with offers on them. Say if you owe $3000.00 they will offer to settle for $2200.00 and give you a certain amount of time to do so. Sometimes they state they will turn it over to their legal help if they do not hear from you. I sent a DV letter a couple of weeks ago and have not heard anything back.

okay so if you deny and lie about owing is this site gonna offer consolidation of debts you say you no longer owe and tell ya how not to pay them now? Very confusing....so many post say honor the debt..but consolidation sight says they will save you money?...what is really going on here???
