As I have posted on here before, everytime I think I have stopped these guys, the calls start again. They started again last week. My lawyer has sent them a cease and desist before but when I told them that on the phone, they said they did not have anything from my lawyer. My lawyer is out of town until tomorrow. The last message I got from them on Friday said I needed to contact them by 10 pm. Friday or they would proceed and all they could wish me was good luck. I have never had them give me a deadline like that. Is this still a scare tactic? It still scares me a little. I did not call them back but wondered if any of you ever heard of them giving a deadline before. They keep saying I had a loan with Quick Payday and I have never had a loan with Quick Payday. I have had other payday loans but never one with them. I went back several months ago and made sure i was okay with the ones I did have but I cannot seem to get the calls to stop. Is giving me a deadline just another one of their tactics or should I be scared?
I want these calls to stop once and for all!

yes it is a scare tactic.they are getting desperate that's all.they would have done something by now don't you think?you did the right thing not calling back.

The calls are starting already this morning even though he said I only had until 10 p.m. to get back to him Friday night. My attorney is still out of the office. I thought he would be back today but it is NEXT Monday. I called a friend of mine who works for a loan company and she looked me up on Teletrak. There is one loan for Loan By Phone (part of Check Into Cash) which shows as written off. I tried to call Loan by Phone but they referred me to the corporate office of Check INto Cash as they said it had been sold to a third party. Even after all this, the collector says he is calling to collect for Quick Payday and I have never had a loan with Quick Payday so maybe this is not really the current issue. However, I want to get this taken care of with Loan By PHone. How do I go about dealing with Check Into Cash if they have already sold it to a third party???? This really makes me angry as I called Loan by Phone last summer and they told me at that time I was okay with them. Now they say it was written off for $240. Can someone help me??
