I have been getting calls from Allied, but the debt is not in my name! I did return their call to find out what this was all about, but they were looking for someone who previously lived in my house. They asked me how long I had had my telephone # and I said over 20 years and it is not in the name you are looking for. She said she would correct her records and the very next night I received another call! Is there anything else I can do other than just ignoring the calls?
YOu can send them a Cease Comm letter. If they call again after
YOu can send them a Cease Comm letter. If they call again after receipt, report them to the FTC and FCC, AG's in their state an your state and ...of course you can sue them.
