New Ohio Law and short term loans

does anyone have experience with taking out one of the the new "short term" loans PDLs are offering due to the new law taking effect in Ohio? How are they different from the Payday loans offered before? they are supposed to be at a lower rate but what are the qualifications that you need to sign up for one of these? specifically, has anyone gotten a short term loan from Advance America? do they give you a loan if you have existing PDLs?
