Who is suing you? What state do you live in? When was the last time you paid on the account? You need to provide us with more info.

ops... thanks Naskar Devil, I am sorry - first time threaders - I did not know how to start a thread. I apologize...anyway, I am from Utah - the company that sue me is Gentry Finance Corp... my court date is next week Dec 09, I tried settling my account with them but they refuse to work with me ..I have been paying this loan for 2 years every other week I pay them $60 - most of the time I refinance my loan and that wipes off all the payments I made. On Oct 30, I paid them $75 and tried asking the manager if they can waive the late fees and interest so I can just paydown the original loan but she said they cannot do that also she said they wont work with the credit counselling or any settlement program, they said the best option for me is to file bankcruptcy - sounds like they are not really going to settle my debt - my original loan was $900, now with fees - they are collecting $1900, and they dont stop calling me after I spoke with thier manager on Oct 30. I donot know what to do - I think this company is worst than payday loan. Please help. Thanks
