Florida Payday Loans--Please Help!!

I do not believe that any of them are operating legally, at least under these names. Most of the listed lenders are merely referral services that refer you to the real lenders. What are the names of the entities that made the actual deposits/debits to your account? Do you have any of your loan documents? PM me about this.

I also live in Florida and have gotten myself into quite a mess with internet payday loans - I was doing okay until recently when my financial situation really started going down. I received a call yesterday from one of them - QuickBucksDirect - they actually called me at work and when I couldn't be reached they asked for my supervisor!! Can they do that. I finally was able to speak to a Ken Kessler who informed me that I owed $271.29 and would have to pay immediately. I told him that I could not pay did not have the money but asked if I could have until Dec 15 my next pay period. He said I would have to pay at least $100 that same day or they would take further legal action. I borrowed $275 and to date have paid triple - I know it's my fault that I got myself into such a rut and I desperately want to get out but don't know how. What can I do? I will be calling them today and asking that they do not contact me at work any longer. Thank you.

Who put money in your account? I would contact your bank and reverse the debit.

My wife and i recently applied for a payday loan for 300 and recieved the loan and payed it off...then a few days later on dec.10th 08 my wife got a call at work from "The Titan Group" they said she was approved for 300 and did she want the loan...she said no however on the next morning the loan was there along with 2 emails 1 from a guy named Matt from the Titan Group and another from "Matt" but from a company called HuskHawk both had the same loan doc setup and almost same loan number but different by 2 numbers...and both had all my wifes info to include bank info...when i called Titan they said that the loan had gone through and they werent able to stop it, and that on dec.26 we have to pay 90 dollar finance charge or 390. i googled huskhawk and found they have alot of complaints...there phone number is disconnected after hours and back on in morning titan group is a 3rd party who doesnt even have a web site...i am filing a fraud claim with my bnk to reverse the 300 and then closing my account.i suggest to anyone who has a loan through ither company do the same withdraw your money and reopen new accont my bank also said you can put a deposit only on your account meaning only electronic or drict deposits can go in but no withdraws from outside sources....remember most of these outfits are scams and if you dont pay them they wont do anything leagally...for risk of getting themselves in trouble...they will talk a good game to you making you think they will garnish your wages or take you to court...But think about it they dont post there address or there number works convienetly most "employees"there work under false names so believe me you might have to change your cell or home number or if they call your work ither act like your a supervisor and tell them your no longer employed there and after a while youll get rid of them..but whatever you do dont let them keep draining you....remember there bogus and they wont hurt your credit....so CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNTS and reopen a new one and start fresh......when you explain to the bank the understand and will help you....Your not alone.....

I also had $300 deposited into my account from a company called Cash Star Group Payday Loans and I never approved any loan, I have never even heard of these people. What do I do?

I live in NY and I currently have 8 different payday loans, have closed my bank account and am working with a consolidator to get this matter resolved and out of my hair for good. I've been getting lots of collection calls, which are very irritating and stressful. One of the loans is with Titan Group LLC, for $200. They had a collection agency from Houston, TX call me up the other day, claiming I owed Titan Group $1100! They claimed they were a lawfirm and that they would have me prosecuted if I did not provide them with $210 that day! According to the attorney general, payday loans are illegal in NY! I'm filing a complain! I've already done so with the FDC. They have NO BUSINESS harassing me like that!

I read your message online regarding the Titan group having an attorney call you and informe you that you would be charged over 3000 $ for fee's for a 300 loan. Well, I rec'd the same call as you, from an attorneys office. Can you please let me know what happened in the end? Did you go to court?

You can hire a bankruptcy attorney in your local area and FILE bankruptcy, upon doing this there is an automatic stay put into effect and those loan companies CANNOT take money out of your account. chapter 7 discharges all debt and chapter 13 consolidates the debt into one monthly payment. either way first and foremost CLOSE your account immediately. and OPEN a new one that is not linked to that account.

Same thing, they said they were an attorney, and filing a suit. Called them back and told them that was not me or my address. She said that was weird, put me on hold, came back on the line and said it had to be. I explained the SS# was not even mine and she just hung up. No attorneys office would just hang up. Its all just a large scam, i even called the court with the fake court # they gave me and it does not exist..... They are playing people to try to scare them to pay.

I have had payday loans through every company out there I think, and was over my head in the debt from it. I tell anyone I know who is thinking about getting one or who has been getting them that they need to stop. It is too easy and way too easy to get in over your head. I had some agency call me today trying to collect on one from 2007 tell me they were going to have me arrested, and I live in FL and know for a fact they can't. No where in the US can they have someone charged with a crime for a Payday loan check. They mentioned Impact Cash and I didn't even recognize the name but the names never match what I clicked on online. They are dangerous, manipulative and should be outlawed.

I had the same problem with too many payday loans, so I got help from a pdl assistance company. (which by the way was great). One payday loan company, discountadvances would not play ball and sent my loan to collections which in turned went on my credit report. so don't be folled these people are ruthless. I have on calling here that I never borrowed money from and threaten to come get me and take me to jail.
