What is it with this guy?

I have seen his posts and most were trying to get a loan with all kinds of one sentence posts about getting one with no bank statement to trying to get one with a spending account and now he claims to have 6 loans?

Is he really looking for help or just some guy trolling the forums?

Richie, if I remember correctly you are from NY? Is that correct? If so, you are well aware that pdl's are illegal there, therefore I am posting a step by step outline of how to handle illegal pdl's. Hope this helps.
What should you do?
Close your account asap, if you are unable to close your account, go into your bank and ask to speak with the Branch Manager, tell him/her you need a hard debit block placed on your account immediately! Explain that you are revoking ACH authorizations from unlicensed/illegal companies, and have learned these companies are notorious for ignoring revocation, therefore it is important to BLOCK any withdrawal attempts on your account to protect your interest. This is your privilege, do not accept no for an answer. The following link will provide you important information regarding closing accounts. CLICK HERE

What next?
AFTER your account is secure send each pdl (the unlicensed and illegal) an email similar to THIS (please scroll down to locate letter template). Tailor this letter to your needs, and try to write it with the same basic concept in your own words. You will need to research and locate email addresses/physical addresses if you don't already have them, I suggest that you type the name of the pdl (example: "oneclickcash address") in the search box in the upper right hand corner of this forum. You may also search for addresses HERE at the Better Business Bureau.

File complaints: Most of the time, you can file a complaint online with the following, I encourage you to follow through with doing so, you will need to search the Internet for your state Attorney General's website, however, here are links to file complaints for the FTC, Online complaints: Federal Trade Commission., and the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Keep in mind that you may not receive a response for days, or even weeks, or, you may receive harassing and threatening phone calls. I have found the best way to deal with this is not to respond or reply, simply hang up.

Side note: If you have paid an illegal/unlicensed payday lender above and beyond the principal amount you borrowed, it might be a good idea to demand a refund and a paid in full letter/receipt. You may or may not get one or both. It still doesn't hurt to include that tidbit in your letter. :)
Richie, all you are doing is borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, that is NOT a solution. You need to STOP borrowing money and pay off your existing loans. We can not advocate borrowing money to "stay a float", please stop asking for advice and suggestions on where to borrow money. Thank you.

I don't think anyone here is going to loan you money. We barely have our own which is why we are here trying to get out of debt.

Not only do you need to stay away from the lenders you need to really start looking at some of the advice given. This is a great site and people are very helpful but you have to start taking the advice and doing the suggestions that are given.

Richie,

People were trying to help you. But you have 2 different types of posts. 1 where you were looking for loans and 2 now you are looking for a way out of the loans. It is hard for us to think that you were just using these places and now us to get money. Thats not fair to the companies that borrowed you the money and that is not what we are here for. The information that has been given to you IS helpful and will tell you what you need to do. You just need to go and re-read it and start the process yourself. We cannot do that part for you. Plus getting another loan is only going to make things worse. Plus now you know that payday loans are not legal in your state, if you take out another on it will be considered fraud! Think about cutting back on things, like internet, cable, cellphone, going out. Also think about selling things that could bring you some money. Like the one post about selling gold. I did that and I got a couple hundred bucks by doing that. I was even thinking about selling our wedding rings at one point, but we went without other things and kept our rings. There is lots of info in here just look and read. Search the companies you are dealing with and see how others got through to them.

Just like the saying, You can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink. We can give you the info but we can't make you do it. The choice is yours. That is all I am going to say about this. Good luck!!

Richie,

If they are saying that 2 of your loans were made in Miami, OK - they are still illegal in YOUR state. The laws that govern PDL's in NY still cover the internet pdl companies from all over the US and outside of the US. Just because the pdl company says that their offices are for example, in Miami OK doesn't mean squat. They are still operating illegally in NY and therefore are breaking NY laws.

Hello no need for that. just look at the member on here in Maryland where pdls are out lawed hmm that person is claimging to havwe 13 Loans out at 1 time or another and still has 13 loans out i know for sure they are not store fronts cause pdl in MD are illegal. seems he to has been fishing the net and the state of VA for lenders, all i ask is how can united cash loans and us fast cash tell me when i sighn agreement its like being there at the Miami OK loan office on MIAMI soil, thats odd. if you never leave your house and only to it by internet, i think somthings fishy going on with the Cheif out there wouldnt you say, and the 2 guys in London ENGLAND that claim to be Licensed in 48 states. Polly or chazzer any input on this

If these loans were taken out on the Internet, and you did NOT physically go to Oklahoma to obtain them, what they (the lenders) are telling you is incorrect. It isn't uncommon for illegal lenders to give inaccurate information to collect their money. If you follow my step by step instructions on the previous page you should be alright. You are morally obligated to pay back the principal amount you borrowed and not a penny more.

Richie, I wish I could say I am sorry you are in this position but I cant. You were given wonderful advice from people on this forum and you made the choice to ignore it and continue on your borrowing ways. Taking from one to give to another does not work. Man up to your responsibilities and make the decision to change course and create a path to becoming pdl free. Many on this forum have done it with the help of those of have been through it. I for one have learned so much here, I am working hard and doing without to free myself from this burden, you shoud try it.
