i recieved a letter from a lawyer seeking payment on a medical bill,which at the time had insurance,it turns out the radiology grp didn't bill.they then decided to send me to collections.so im now stuck trying to dispute the bill.i would send them debt validation on the acct.....

Who is suing you? What attorney? If it is Faber and Brand, they are relentless and will find a way to get money. They are a debt collecting attorney who mainly works with medical bills. They have really raked people over the coals and will take you to court. I tried working something out to avoid court but they were pathetic jerks who waiting until we got to court to "work" something out. I was out fees etc...

Definitely answer the summons and go to court. Take your insurance information with you and explain to the judge that had this company actually sent you anything in the mail instead of just suing, you would have informed them that they needed to bill the insurance.
