I had an account go into for collections in Colorado and now I live in Florida. Can the collector come after me in another state? It was from an apartment complex when I broke the lease it was Feb 2007 so went to collections April 2007. I moved to FL that feb. Can they legally come after my wages??

Not until after you are sued and a judgment is placed. Even then, the judgment needs to be enforced and they would have to contact you again to see what assets you have, your employer and how much money you make.

It would probably be too much trouble for them to bother but it can show up on your credit report for many years.
