I received several phone calls from 8665674734 also 8002010565 which i could not call back. I spoke to a ronald washington first who before i said anything I told him that I was recording the phone call. As soon as i asked for the address he put me on hold and put me on the phone with a richard stewart. This guy was overly obnoxius and spoke with a heavey southern accent. I again asked for the address and this guy went into some rant how I was being unreasonable and he did not have to give me any information and that i was being childish. He then hung up on me. I called back and stated that it was my right to know basic information, and he said that it was my right since he owned the phone lines to disconnect the call. I was only able to get their address after finding this site with inputting the phone numbers. Any information would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

If you found the address, send these losers a debt validation letter, also include in this letter that they have already violated the law by not divulging their address to you and that you have it on tape as proof. Inform them that if they continue to violate your rights, you will be forced to take them to court.

KEEP THAT RECORDING! It is proof that they violated.

These people called me this morning and left a voicemail with the usuall collection garbage.

The number came through as 210 892-0019, if the number is legitimate they are located in San Antonio, TX.

Legal Mediation Practice was a collection agency located in Jacksonville, Florida. From what I have heard, from two different sources, they closed up shop sometime in mid-November. I have been by their office and it does look deserted, as well as the phone numbers and fax numbers I had for them are no longer working.

I'd be willing to bet the crooks that ran the place simply closed up Il-Legal Mediation Mal-Practice and opened up another CA under a new name. Wouldn't be the first time it has happened. I'll definitely keep my eyes and ears open for any information regarding them, as I need to sue them again for violating an agreement from when I sued them over a year ago.

Oh, then you haven't been following the "H & P Capital" thread, have you?

Seems there's a new CA in town. Goes by the name of H & P Capital. It's offices are in the old offices of Il-Legal Mediation Mal-Practice. Its staff uses the same illegal strong-arm fdcpa violating tactics as LMP.

My theory is it's just LMP with a shiny new wrapper. I bet the owners were trying to get out of all the lawsuits that had been brought against LMP.

Only a matter of time, however, before H &P Capital starts getting bombarded with FDCPA violation lawsuits of their own.

They are now known as H and P Capital. They threatened to arrest me if I didn't pay on an out standing loan. When I asked for validation of debt, they refused saying that I had already received it. When I offered to make payments they refused saying that I would have to pay in full. They did not tell me I was being recorded until I talked to them the 2nd day. When I called back to tell them I could not pay in full he called me beligerent and uncorporative and that he was going to enforce the full extent of the law. When I quoted Utah law to him he hung up on me.

First of all Utah has some of the strictest recording laws in the country. They are not allowed to record without your permission and there are criminal penaties for doing so. Under the FDCPA they are forbidden to threaten you with criminal prosecution. You have a clear cut case of FDCPA violations here. Get yourself a lawyer who will take this case on a contingency and you will win money and recover legal fees and have your bill paid in full. They are out there. Go to the NACA website for a start and use google also by putting in FDCPA Lawyer or attorney.
