I am trying to get pre approved for a home loan and was told that I need to apply for a secured credit credit card so that I can establish credit history. Does anyone know a good way to get credit and/or what secured card is good? I already have a secured card through BOA, but I need to show two lines of credit history. Please help.

new millenium bank or applied bank.i have the applied bank card and they do report positively for me.also the 9.95%apr is locked in even if you are late.

yeah, but just about every secured card is like that.i went to FIRST OPTION mastercard site and it was the same.ditto for BofA secured, first premier,NMB.i tried to find an option where you can complete the application without that, but no dice.i found that the deposit was secure and have had no problems since.
