A & S Collection Associates

So I've read in the forum about an A S and Associates, is this the same CA? They've been calling me claiming I owe a dr office $550 and I have documentation that I only owe $330. I've told them that I wont pay until they 1, send me some type of verification of this debt and 2, once they acknolewdge that i only owe $330 and not $550. They said they would not mail me any type of verification because it is a waist of their time and that i first need to fax them a promisory note that i will pay the $330. I am scared that this might be a some type of scam. The lady I spoke to said that they're company is operating in AZ and has a website, but when I googled them, i found this forum and another a&s in Texas and Vermont. What's going on, should I pay, or can I pay the original dr office directly? I have been trying to resolve this with a & s and have been going in circles for the past year. What should I do?


Write a letter to Mr. Elliot Burg, State of Vermont Office of the Attorney General, Consumer Assistance Program, 103 B Morrill-Hall UVM, Burlingham, Vermont 05405.?? They are currently investigating A&S Collections in Vermont.?? If it is the same company maybe they will close them down too.?? Good Luck!??
Ronals Saldi owner of A&S Collections in Vermont is in jail waiting trial for federal cocaine, marijuana and gun charges.?? He was arrested while out on bond for the same thing last year.?? Arizona revoked their collection agency licenses.??

That's interesting. A&S has been hounding me to let them collect my bad accounts. They recently dropped their $1000 intro. fee and said they would take all my accounts for nothing.

I signed up with A&S Collections about 4 years ago to do collection work for me. In the 4 years they have not collected one penny for me. I collected from a client since they didn't and now they want me to pay them for the work I did. That would be ok if they had collected anything, but they haven't. They now call me to collect from me. What a joke! I sent them a certified letter telling them to stop any and all collection efforts on my behalf. They ignored it! When they called me last time I told them to drop my accounts. They informed me I would have to pay a cancellation fee of I think 6% on all the money they haven't collected in the 4 years they have had the accounts. Funny, they don't do their job and then want to charge me 6%. I hired them but I'll be damned if I can fire them. Scam artist with a license! I hope the State of Vermont shuts them down forever! Until then, don't do ANY business with this company, they aren't who thier web site says they are.
