Hi, just registered today, can someone give me some suggestions on which ebooks or guides are good for newbies like me?

I agree with NASCAR Devil, and would just like to add that it would be good to familiarize yourself with various laws in your state such as wage garnishment. The reason I say this is because if you live in Texas, and a collector threatens garnishment, you can laugh at them and hang up. (there is no wage garnishment in Texas except for child support and federal taxes)
