I have been doing a lot of investigating on this lately. Massachusetts has some of the toughest debt collection laws and licensing but they are not enforced. Also, these attorney's are getting real sneaky in thinking they do not need to be licensed to collect debt in Massachusetts, well they are half right. Here is some information I have come up with so far...

Law Offices of Yellin & Goldner
2000 Commonwealth Avenue
Newton, MA 02466

Auburndale Capital Corp.
2000 Commonwealth Avenue
Newton, MA 02466

Now John Yellin and David Goldner run the law firm which they say they collect consumer debt. So they do not have to be licensed debt collectors in Massachusetts.

Auburndale Capital Corp. is run by, John Yellin & David Goldner yet again but this is not a law firm. They purchase debt for collection. This company DOES need to be licensed because it is not a law firm. What they do is purchase the debt threw this company and send it right over to their own law firm.

You will NEVER hear about the companies the law firms in Massachusetts have unless you research it like I did. They are breaking the law and the only time an attorney is involved is when he is in his car driving to the court house to sue you.

Here are a few more examples:

Lustig, Glaser & Wilson, President is Kenneth C. Wilson
140 KENDRICK STREET BUILDING C
Needham MA 02494

HEMLOCK GORGE HOLDINGS, LTD. President Kenneth C. Wilson
140 KENDRICK STREET BUILDING C
NEEDHAM, MA 02494

Forsyth Law Offices P.C.

Boston MA 02132

Norfolk Financial Corp.( forsyth Law offices is an employee)
1208 VFW parkway suite 201
Boston MA 02132

There are tons more and I bet that if a law firm is in the debt collection business in Massachusetts, they have another company that no one hears of that gets the account first and is also unlicensed to collect debt. Lets put a stop to the abuse.

Great job on going out there and collecting information! I'm sure it'll serve you well. I'm sure there are plenty of people on here that will appreciate your input as well.
