don't get frightened bucs-luvr, they are known to be very rough in their dealings.
did you receive anything in writing from them? if your answer is no, then you need to tell them that they had five days from initial contact to mail a dunning letter. Make sure you verify your address. After you receive the letter from them, send a debt validation request.

No nothing in writing and when I asked them about sending me somthin gin writing she did not she then proceeded to tell me that she is personally suing me because I told her that I would pay this debt wich was 700.00$ more then the original debt was for.And because I lied her job is now in jepordy and she is a single mom and she can not afford to lose her job so she says she paid 200.00 out of her own pocket to hire an attorney to sue me and that between the two lawsuits I would be served at work and possibly arrested. I am a brand new mom of twins and I have to tell you this woman has got me sccared to death.
I would add "a serious crack habit" to her list of woes. Pure B

First thing you need to do is not panic. If they fail to send you anything in writing then you do not pay them one red cent. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is not going to lose her job and she is not taking $200 out of her pocket to file a lawsuit.
Ask her if she knows where you work, I bet she doesn't. Please, do not get upset or scared by this nonsense, if she calls again you can do one of 2 things, ignore them all together or answer the phone and if she threatens you again, call the police and have them come over. Then when the police are there have them listen on the other line and call them back. Ask her for your rights under the fdcpa and tell them they need to send you your first letter so you can check the validity of the debt. If she threatens you again, you have a witness. Now call a good attorney and sue them and bring the police officer in as a witness or get a sworn testimony from him, police report and take it to the attorney.
Now you should be able to sue this debt collector.
