I have received a call from this number saying that they are in process of charging me with fraud. Call the number back and i dont any person just a bunch of noise. I do live n texas and have pdl that i have defaulted on. Is there anything that they can do. I was in the process of trying to pay them pack and know this has happen. Any help out there.

yup.that's phoenix debt alright.they aren't a licensed CA so they can't do anything but threaten illegaly.i wouldn't talk to them again.just state they have 5 days to get a dunning letter to you.then hang up on them.

that's basically a letter stating who they are.who they are collecting for.the amount of the debt and how to dispute the validity if you wish to.again they cannot have you arrested.debts are civil matters not criminal ones.

over the phone?not a good idea with a bottomfeeder like this.if you get it in writing then okay,but never make arrangements over the phone.

I have made arrangements to pay 2 payday loans back and unable to pay. They haven't sent me a settlement letter or anything. What should I do?

did you give bank info over the phone?if so put your account on deposits only.if not and they call demand the agreement in writing.five questions.

how much was borrowed from each?
how much was debited by each
names of the pdl's
internet or storefront
what state are you in.

you would be suprised at how much if anything you do owe.
