Is it correct that a judgement should be in public records of the credit report and it is also listed under charge offs in the creditor section under the original creditor. I am currently paying the garnishment amount to the attorney but making it out to the original creditor per their instructions.

I have a question nascar, I had a judgment placed against me ,supposedly the lawyer said he was suing for LVNV Funding. This was almost 10 months ago and nowhere has the judgment showed up on my credit report.

LVNV Funding is still on there and they keep updating the file but the amount is more than the judgment was for. I am starting to think the attorney purchased the debt for LVNV Funding and said he was suing for them when he really wasn't now he don't have my personal information to report to my credit report.

Does that sound logical?
