If a company tries to collect on an old debt:

!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT CALL THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you call them, the debt now becomes active and they can restore it as a new debt.

They bought this debt from another company, and they want you to settle this debt with a single payment.

Let's say you owed someone $5000.00.

10 maybe 15 years ago, this debt has been sold to so many other companies over the years and they have now bought this loan for $100.00.

They send you a letter through the mail, or call you on the phone. They state that you can get rid of this debt by paying only $2500.00 or less (in full).

This is how the company makes money.
ive written access for this company to review
Write a Letter to Experion--Equifax--TransUnion

Stating that you did not g your credit. Plus you would like this transaction to discontinue because of Identity Theft.

Not true. Some states have a law if you acknowledge the debt it can be brought back into SOL, but even then most say you have to acknowledge it in writing, or pay something on it. Just talking to them does not restart the SOL.

If they have the debt, even a SOL one, they have permissible Purpose...now you might be able to get rid of permissible purpose if you DV and they can't prove it, essentially making it a non-existent debt and therefor no reason to pull credit.

Expiration of SOL and reporting period does not extinguish the underlying debt unless you live in a state with a Statute of Repose (MS & WI). Existence of the debt gives the CA permissable purpose to pull your credit file. Reporting this as Identity Theft is a chicken s$!t move and belittles those who are truly victims of IDT. I suggest you do a bit more research before posting any more nonsense.
