Palisades Collection LLC and Pressler & Pressler

Were you ever notified that you were being sued? If not you can have the courts to discharge the judgement for improper service. You can then have it removed from your credit report.

Not that I recall. Nor am I familiar with the amount for the alleged debt. Further, upon searching the New York County Clerk database, there is no record for Palisades suing me during the period indicated. I am beginning to wonder if this is a valid judgment.

I would definitely go to the court house to find out. It could have been mistakenly put on your credit report, such as wrong person or they illegally put it on there when no judgment in fact exists.

If they do have a judgment then you where probably never served and is grounds for removal for improper service.

This company operates in the open by using illegal tactics. Everyone knows they do this and no one does anything. Check to see if the judgment is real. Listen to guess and physically go to your court house and see if it's real. This company will completely lie and trick you into paying so check all angles.

I agree, pressler and pressler are horrible and nobody will stop them. be very careful and keep documentation of everything. if you catch them breaking the law report them to everyone possible. they will stop at nothing and nobody will stop them.

Is there anyone out there who has Palisades Collection, LLC after them right now or who has had in the Past come and bother them, I have these people, Meaning the NJ office and the NY office and all there Lawyers in court for fraud for filing fraudulent cases against US Citizens! I am looking to remove each Lawyer's License and dissolve the company, this is the reason I am Posting as I need other people now, I have found that Palisades Collection, LLC has gone after people Living in Ireland I have found Palisades Collection, LLC seizing Bank Accounts without any evidence to file a Lawsuit, I have caught Palisades Collection, LLC filing second cases against the same person for the same charges in the same court while the first case was still ongoing, We have shown that Palisades Collection, LLC has placed more then one claim against a person in the credit reporting agencies which destroys a persons credit, as you each know each Item placed against a persons credit is taken 65 points away from that person, we have found Palisades Collection, LLC threaten people for a sum to remove this from their credit reports, We are working hard on this case and trial is still on-going, closing arguments and Letters posted to the Justice in this case will help stop these criminals, we are even thinking of filing a case against Palisades Collection, LLC and all there attorneys for each person they have filed against which they have violated the Law and there civil rights, upon the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Attorney are bound by Law to follow the Laws of each State, their addresses are:

Hi, last week i received a letter from Pressler and pressler informing me that i am being sued!!! Apparently they file the case at civil court kings county on 21st february 2009, but I received it last week. please help!!! What do i do??

i just recieved today aletter from pressler and pressler saying they have made application to garnish my pay through my local county courthouse becauase of 2 debts that my wife and i are sure we paid, but cannot find documentation proving so since this debt was to have paid 4 years ago.and our credit report shows this debt as not being paid! are we screwed or what. these debts total 3,800.00 and the worst part is we are broke and i took a pay loss recently and they told me over the phone ,we are still going to sue and will put up for auction anything i own unless i pay in full before april16, 2009! ionly own 2 old trucks and have 5 kids and pay mortgage of 1,400.00 a month

did you recieve a summons from them? what kind of alert is this? i am pretty sure that during the discovery process you can request validation and it is possible you do not really owe it still.. also, what state are you in? The SOL might be up for you..

recv cout papers 11/18/08. answered and also had court stamp copys of answer and DV letter sent to lawyer (LEVY)... had pre-trial hearing 1/13/09.. LEVY fax a different lawyer to show up 7:30 fax came hearing with Judge was at 8:20. Judge issued a pre-trial discovery for Plaintiff ( Good old DV letter) last week court sent a letter stating Denial that we ever had any CC with this account # was not a good enough def. Plaintiff has still not answered anything from the DV letter or pre-trial order.Judge has given until Monday 4/14/09 4:00 for us to re-answer same questions. Any thoughts to what else to do?? We do have a free 45 min appmt with a Lawyer tommorow, but anyone have some advise?????

Pressler & Pressler LLC are thieves they received a judgement against me and have attached my wages. I tried to fight in court but was told that I had to pay. Got it reduced to a minimal amount but I am sure that they did this illegally. When you call you never get an attorney. Your never get anyones last name all they say is this is Joe the paralegal. I have no idea what amount is still owed as no one will ever answer me when I call other then to say your wages are attached you should know how much you paid. Wish I would have known then that it is all an illegal scam. Not sure if there is any way to stop them from continuing to take this money weekly anyone have any suggestions

pressler and pressler is a horrible company, sadly they get away with practically everything, i have seen them levy people's accounts, garnish wages, etc. and they probably do use illegal tactics :( be very careful with them..

I just discovered my suspicions about Pressler & Pressler are worse than I thought. I intend to file with the Attorney general and FTC to put them out of business.

just a warning, elisabeth.. NJ's attorney general's office is basically useless. report them, by all means report to everyone and anyone who will listen but sadly they let pressler and similar companies get away with too much.

P&P won a default judgment against me - I have no recolection of the debt or being served. The thing is they transferred the debt to a judgment collector named Aries Data collections. I just filed an order to show cause....anybody have any advice? Do you think P&P will show in court even though they no longer own my case?

they really might show up in court.. they are pretty agressive and get away with a lot of stuff so they do not really feel like they have to hide anything..
perhaps you can call your local sheriff's office and/or process server to see if they have any record of anything being sent over to them to be served to you?

I live in Manhattan - they got a judgment against me - I just got the Order to show cause. The thing is - why would they want to even collect the debt from me once they have sold it? It's now owned by a judgment collection service. They wont even make money.

Hey guys, so the plot thickens. I got a copy of the file. They served a judgment to someone with a variation of my last name. I have no clue who he is but he resided at the address connected to the account. Apparently this guy verified I someone by my name lives there and that they weren't in the military. How the hell could he have done that!? Is that enough to vacate? In the file they have no copy of the bill etc.

It says affidavit of service. Does that mean I can vacate? Also when I go to court will I have to speak, what's the procedure like.

I just discovered that Palisades collection LLC obtained a judgment against someone and it has my SS# on the judgment, then they took the judgment and started wage garnishments against me. I have started obtaining legal data against Palisades and actually got my hands on the court document proving that Palisades submitted these docs with a fake name and my SS#. I must remain quiet until 3 weeks from now, but after that I can provide a significant amount of legal docs that prove that Palisades is submitting false claims of money debt with fake names and ss#. Stay tuned and I will update soon. Let's get these dirtbags!!!!! I have a lot of legal expertise and have enough (I believe) to put them out of business and encourage a judge to make them pay to each victim punitive damages.

They are retards. I am going to court against them. There is no other way other then paying them in full. You need to go to the Civil Court to the county, where it was filed and do "Order to show cause" to Vacate the debt. Even after they receive the notice, they won't even settle. I guess Feb 22 I will know for sure but according to the lawyers I have spoken with, I have a very strong case.

OMG some one please help me!! I have been ignoring them after they NEVER sent me my proof i asked for which was a SIGNED contract with my name on it and any paper work stating that AT&T signed my contract over to them. They only sent me a piece of paper with the contract number on it. That to me is not proof!! well now they have the CITY MARSHALLS sending notices to my job to garnish my wages!!! My boss has been ignoring them after i have showed him all the proof of the statements (all originals are being kept in a safe) but its getting kind of scary now, because they are saying they want to sue my boss! Now my boss tells me to go to small claims court and sue Palisades, but how do i get the Marshalls off our backs? Plus im new with the court system and they say i have to explain the reason for me suing them? what do i say? thanks!
Oh yea when this whole thing started with them they put a FREEZE on my bank account... MADE me give them $500 then unfroze my account.. since then i have changed banks.... then they WAITED A WHOLE YEAR or so and came after me again!!
