Sample letter to the Attorney/Collection firm

I would like a sample letter that I can use. I want to contact the Attorney via mail so that I may have proof to show the judge if in fact they do not want to work with me.
The Attorney may not know that I have a financial hardship. And only have a court order child support that is excempt. That's my only income
